The first development build of PC-BSD 1.3 has been released: "The PC-BSD Team is pleased to announce the availability of PC-BSD 1.3 BETA1. This release gives users and testers the opportunity to test-drive the new PC-BSD install wizard, along with the updated base system, running KDE 3.5.4." From the changelog: "Brand-new system install wizard; install CD boots into RAM for switching CDs during install process; new visual look-and-feel for default PC-BSD; added Fluxbox and Idesk for 'server' profile; installer allows multiple users to be added; advanced options in installer - set up firewall, network, custom partitions; new X server and sound detection setup; dded new default startup and shutdown splash screens...."
