Who/What is Oddsock.org

Oddsock.org was started around 1999 in an effort to try to bring free tools to people who need them most, broadcasters trying a new medium (mp3 streaming) and trying to compete with large companies. Broadcasters of these sorts didn't have money to spent on large systems to run their broadcast (or at least alot of them didn't) and yet they needed quality software to compete.....

Everything here is completely free. Most everything comes with source code, and anyone is encouraged to extend or enhance what is here. All I ask is that you give back to the community, whatever you take....:)

We don't do advertising here, and I doubt we ever will....and when I say "we", it's just "me"...There are not hoards of programmers, or big project managers, just me, trying to make a dent in this place I call home.. :)
