Want to try vista, so find vista rc1 and try to install it. following is the steps:
Vista rc1 download url is : http://download.windowsvista.com/dl/preview/rc1/en/x86/iso/vista_5600.16384.060829-2230_x86fre_client-lr1cfre_en_dvd.iso this comes from microsoft website.
Suggest install in vmware. There is a bug in vmware when to install vista, the solution is add the following 2 lines in your vmx file:
svga.maxWidth = "640"
svga.maxHeight = "480"
When finish installing remove the above 2 lines.
Now, enjoy it.
